Re: Silver Arrow calipers and rotors

I might be interested. I know this has been previously discussed but just to confirm, as long as I have the late-style lower control arms, they should be a straight bolt on to my 92 with standard 16" wheels?

Esteban, with the late-style LCA's, the calipers will bolt up... but you will need 17" wheels. Also, there will be some trimming required on the rear dust shield for 92 and early 93 models, for both the caliper & rotor.

FYI - international shipping costs for the rotors may exceed their value, make sure to check on that, might be better to source those locally. It's the calipers which are quite rare and difficult to find used.

Thanks, Dave. The main problem for me is that I don't want to change to 17" for the moment so I guess the alternative is the 600SL update.

Yes - the 320mm iron Ate calipers are the largest which will clear 16" wheels. You will likely still need to swap the LCA's though, as the 320mm rotors sit ~6mm deeper than the 300mm. But then you'll be ready for a future 334mm upgrade.
