1941 BMW with machine gun and soldiers uniforms

    Chaps,

This BMW was at my mechanic's shop for a tune up. The owner, a 13 yr old very charming boy, bought it on the internet, his father gave him the money and let him do the transaction. It came with a machine gun, the soldiers uniforms and sidecar covers, everything in immaculate condition. They were waiting for a friend to come and pick it up because the father does not have a motorcycle license yet. My wife took pictures of it with her BB. The boy with the argyle sweater is the owner.

    Enjoy.

    Orazio

This one sold in Spain, I don't know for how much. What a beautiful machine.

    BMW R-75 sidecar, year 1943 and 750 c.c.
This motorcycle was restored about 18 years ago; and it has electronic ignition to 12 V.
This R-75 belonged to the Spanish army, and it has high quality of originality like the sidecar carrying.
It has Spanish documents a day.

    Technical data:

    Period of manufacture: 1941-1944
Power: 26 hp at 4000 rpm
    Displacement: 750 cc
    Engine Type: Boxer-twin, 4 stroke
    Weight: 420 Kg
    Max speed: 95 Km/h

A photo of my replica R-75 which I owned while living in Beijing from '95 - '01. A factory on the outskirts of Beijing was making these things to full, original specs at the time...with most customers being the expats. It had a 750 cc side-valve engine, 4 forward and 1 reverse gears and a top speed of approximately 60 mph. I will dig around for and try to post some additional photos of this beast.

    Pretty neat !

Here's one for ya' http://coventrymotorcar.com/inventory.html (see it on the last page)

Heehee...Kettenkrad !! Don't see these much in the USA.

It's on consignment, the guy also has 3 restored Swimmwagens; one of them was in the showroom for almost a year before it sold. Funniest thing about his German war machine collection (which is quite cool btw)...the guy is Jewish....go figure that one.
