Anyone hear from him lately?

I sure hope he's OK considering all that is happening in Japan.

I never met him but I sure have learned a lot from him.

Kind Regards,

I too have been concerned about all the Japanese MB owners.

There's such a huge following over there, and one of the highest concentrations of 036 and E60's in the world.

SO tragic.

I've been Emailing a bit with Niibe during this year, but since May all contact suddenly stopped. If anyone can share some contact info to him, please PM me.

OK, thanks Gerry.

I've sent PMs to him too. Maybe he has changed Email address.

After stumbling into his blog , i found that he has designed a special ATF pan .

Available here:

Niibe , if your reading this , can you explain about the benefit of your design ?

Looks like the fins provide some additional cooling area to bring tranny fluid temps down 15-20 degrees....

1100.- Euros for an ATF pan !!! ... It better have a massive cooling effect

Good idea for those who often tow stuff with their .036

:jelmerian:Yes, perhaps Dutchie anhanger-towers going south for the summer holidays would be a good market !!

Maybe a stupied question, but the posted PMs are stored in the members inbox, no matter if he has changed or have a malfunction on his Email address?

Yes, unopened and opened PMs are stored in the member's inbox, until they are deleted. When a new message arrives, generally the member is alerted of its existence through an email to their registered email address.

I occasionally do get notifications of bounced messages to members' email addresses, but I do not recall seeing that NIIBE's email was included in any bounce notices. I will check them more carefully in the near future to see if any of the notices that I get pertain to his email address. I typically just delete bounced email notices that come into the 500Eboard.com admin email box.(admin@500eboard.com NOT PM)
