IMHO, THE cleanest and almost stock 500E is the USA. If if competes in a car show, it wins.

Holy cow, that's shiny! That engine compartment looks like it just rolled out of the factory, wow! (minus the alarm, tho :)

How many hours per week do you spend polishing and cleaning this beauty?!

Thanks....the alarm siren has been removed. The Alarm itself is still wired into car and for now I'm leaving it alone since I do not use it.

The 500E car is basically a garage queen. I drive a 1986 190E 16V

Karl. Currently the car has a little over 35k miles

Hey Jeff, you should be more careful, I saw some dust on the airbox last time.

35k miles ?? got to be one of the lowest - in the US at least. :worshippy:

when do you ever use it?

What size wheels did you use on the pic 5th from the top? Looks like CSL55 AMG wheels, what size tires did you run?

Correct, the wheels are from a CLS55 or rather 2 CLS55s since I used 4 rear wheels. Tire size was 285/30/19.

WOW! Looks very much like direct from the factory. Never saw such a clean 500E.
Do you mind sharing any interior pictures?

Stunning. This car doesn't get driven hard at all, I'd say, but do you drive it at all?

Yes, the Sportline rear wagon seats are VERY rare. I didn't know Jeff had them! Where did you score those, Jeff? I've seen, like, one photo from Europe...

Dave:

The front seats are from a 500E, but the rear wagon Sportline seats were shipped from Germany :)

I replaced all headrests with the pillow top headrests from the 16V.

Jeff,

I can see how it won a trophy at "Legends of the Autobahn"

A really great looking Estate Wagon.

Another example of a Captruff project.

Thanks for sharing Jeff.
