Amazing! Is it based on a W124036 or a standard W124?

Interesting story behind this car.

Original owner wanted AMG to build it but AMG said something like "don't let the door hit you in the ass as you're leaving."
Undetered, he went to Kicherer (MB dealer and tuning house) to ask them. Kicherer hed 2 senior AMG techs, who just opened their own shop, build the car.
The pics posted are from several years ago as I recall.

Kind Regards,

Ron

Hello Arcady.

So this is a regular S124 stationwagon upgrade, just as my previous 500TE. It is an interesteing car, but do you know whether, or to which extent, it's done any upgrade on the chassis, reinforcements etc..?

And does it have TüV/Decra approval?

Cheers

Hi Arnt,
it must have been approved by TÜV- otherwise it would never get german registration. I have no information about chassis etc.
Bernard (mbevolution) should know this car.

Thanks. It is a nice car and everything is probably done very well and in good condition. However, it is not a collector car, it's a converted regular stationwagon with a great engine. But 50.000 Euro - close to an E60 AMG Limited, or low milage E60 AMG, or Hammer?!?...no way, sorry.

He, He...you're right Jelmer, for missus of course.:-)

Btw - the film I mentioned about missus, is "Australia". A great romance to be enjoyed along with missus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia_(2008_film)

Ciao

You proposed it wrong.
Wife gets T 7.3, you take A124 6L Brabus- cause your ego is not that important, and you playing low, just 6 liters, 4 cylinders less and no roof....
