I don't know the part numbers off hand but you can usually by them on E-Bay for a lot less $$$. I purchased a set about a year and half ago for way less than the dealers. Around $60.00 each if I recall. I will try to find the invoice.

The part numbers for the fog light lenses in the front spoiler are:

003 826 35 90 (left)
003 826 36 90 (right)

Current price is $186 apiece (parts.com $111.60).
You can generally get them much cheaper via eBay or aftermarket sources, though. Wow ... they have really gone up in price.

better to purchase assembly?

Why would it be better to purchase an assembly if only a lens is needed?

If the light is intact and in good shape, the lens alone is fine. Sometimes the lights get damaged internally, and if this is the case, replace the entire assembly. You should inspect both fog lights closely BEFORE ordering parts... better yet, remove them from the car before ordering. You'll need to do that anyway, even to swap the lenses.

I purchased and installed only the lenses with no problem. They do come with new seals.

Take them out of the car and just be careful with the plastic tabs. I did manage to break one without any serious conquences.

Much cheaper on e-Bay if they are available.

Take Care

Autohaus has the lenses (OE Bosch) for ~$75/ea. I'd recommend applying some Lamin-X film to protect the new lenses.

I replaced my lenses back in about 2004 as they were pretty sand-blasted. It's a pain and to make this job easier it's best to remove the front wheel and also to jack up the front end of the car -- that will give you the maximum amount of room. I remember the job being a fair PITA mainly to access the light. I'd say it takes about 30 minutes per side to do, with the first one being the worst because you're figuring out how to do it.

I have seen the lenses many times over the years on the 'Bay for significantly cheaper than the factory units. I believe you can get them on the aftermarket from Bosch. AutohausAZ.com has them for $72.47 each (Bosch lenses); lamp assemblies for $146.38 each (Bosch).
