That is / was Talbir's car, no? Surprised to see green coolant in the tank. Nice Brabus bling though.

:wahoo:

Yes, I believe that's the one he sold. A guy on the MBcoupes.com mailing list was virtually (online) "showing it off" (he has a couple of SECs and a 107 SL too).

The implication was that he had done the work on the E500, as he had done a very well-documented major overhaul (widebody conversion, paint, rust repair, bling) on one of his SECs as well.

Cheers,
Gerry

Suprised he sold that car with so many rare, hard to find items, especially that Tempamatic system

Wonder what it sold for. The undercarriage is not that clean, there is some rust / corrosion present (see pics of sway bar, coil spring, and LCA). Mine looks nearly new by comparison. Wonder if the car had seen snow earlier in its life? Still a sweet ride, I lust after those power / heated Recaros!

You think that was a bad undercarriage?

Oh dear.

I'd say the same about the engine, look at the heavy oil condensation. This is mostly associated with high temp or high load/stress engines.

Yeah, all of my 124's (five of them), plus the three owned by my dad and sister, have almost zero rust or corrosion, anywhere. I've been spoiled by west-coast USA cars, lol.
