Just measure it when you get your engine and transmission installed. Then go to the driveshaft shop near you and have them make it for you. It is around 900.00 here for one that is built to handle around 800lbft of tq. Assuming you show up with the ends from a donor shaft.

i bought 1 from overseas the length is correct but the center bearing location on the shaft doesn't line up with the mount location on the vehicle
i am trying to find out if a standard w124 and a 500's mount location is different

Standard 124 sedan has a different center bearing location compared to V8 sedans (124.034/.036). Therefore, the length of the front vs rear shafts are also different.

the uni interferes with a bolt from the seat slide that's bolted to the tunnel

Here's a photo of the V8 center support area. Not sure if it helps much...

That is on a 1993 500E. Unfortunately, I took those photos when the exhaust was removed, and I don't have the ability to pull it off anytime soon.

If you need lengths of the driveshaft sections, can you post a photo of the dimensions you need? I have a loose driveshaft laying around the shop somewhere. I think.
