I had a fault code related to the S29/3 (Closed throtte position switch, fault code 14, pin 7
ASRE-GAS module). I replaced the switch with a genuine Mercedes-Benz part (correct part number).
After driving last night the rev limiter kicked in under high revs and high load (never happened before), and the idle feels a bit lumpy again, just not as smooth.
The same fault code is back.
The car in question is a 1993 500E euro spec.
What should I look for? What are the obvious culprits?
