Why are they showing facelift pattern lenses yet advertising the lamps for 1986-1993 cars?

this is also how a lot of people sell Not what's for sale but slightly more illicit products and get paid for them FWIW.

I think these tend to be large vendors / resellers, who instead of pulling a listing when they run out of inventory, assign some ridiculous price to prevent selling something they don't actually have.

I don't understand the logic behind those, assuming there is any.

I enjoy the item that has a reasonable price but shipping that is off the scale. Pretty sure there are no ebay fees for the shipping so they try to get you to purchase with a low price and keep more money in their pocket.

Nope. Those are knock offs. The original listing has to be the real deal!

eBay started charging fees on shipping years ago, to solve the problem of people selling a $1000 item for $100 with $900 shipping, to avoid fees. Easy fix, charge fees on everything to kill that loophole. This also encourages sellers to offer free shipping, with the ship cost bundled into the item price (buyers like free shipping).

The exception is international sales, for those eBay only charges fees on the item, not ship charges. At least in USA. Someone posted recently from Turkey and claimed eBay charges them fees on international shipping but I have my doubts.
