You are just going to get a range of opinions, this is like asking what oil to use, first let the experts here answer on fitment unless you have that figure out already.

Opinion 1: Those are super cool, I'm jealous, love wheels with bolts on the perimeter of the rim, looks aggressive

Opinion 2: Your nuts, are you a stance guy, this is the 500eboard, not stance500E.com, don't bastardaze your classic benz this way, only EVO and Monoblocks are correct.

I agree with your wife. I’m not a fan of the MAE design. They look heavy to me, also you can expect a pretty harsh ride on 19” wheels. If you are plan to drive your car to more than car shows don’t go any larger than 18”.

If if you can find the thread a 500eboard member had a set of the MAEs on his car. It might have been Kolos from Poland. Whomever it was he took them off.

IMOP, The 18” Neez EVOs Look waaay better. In the end it’s your car and your choice. “Whatever Floats Your Boat”

    Re: looking for wheel options

I think these are 18' MAE's, no? They are unique...as for weight, an 18X9.5 aero II weighs in at some 60 lbs [admin edit - 60 lbs with tires] so I'd be Real surprised if a multipiece wheel like this would weigh More.

I don't know if I Love em, but if you want to stand out some this will do the trick. Fitment is going to be Snug, that much I can promise!

    Re: looking for wheel options

My favorites, and not necessarily in this order (but pretty close).
    1. NEEZ 18 x 9 and 9.5
    2. 18" AMG BBS 2 piece (aka split-face)
    3. 17" AMG OZ Racing
    4. 17" Evo II
    5. 18" AMG Monoblocks from E55
    6. 17" AMG Aero I
    7. 17" AMG Aero II
    8. 18" AMG (star-fish) from R129
    ....and the list goes on...

But there are a handful of other very nice and somewhat exotics.
