    New headliner

Just one data point. Had a shop in Annapolis do a new headliner for me today - originally recommended to me by a friend who had his Jag headliner done there. Dropped off at 8:30, was finished about 3:45. Looks fantastic. I used a fabric that they recommended, we just picked the closest match. I wasn't going to insist on OEM stuff. Price was $450. Classic hole in the wall shop, looks pretty dumpy outside, but when I booked the appointment a month ago they were doing a new top for a 60's RR convertible, and today they had an Aston Martin in there finishing up as I dropped off. Very pleased. Bay Country Custom Van and Upholstery on George St. Talk to Jake.

I think the biggest concern I would have in having a new headliner put in is the re+re of all the plastic trim that have old brittle plastic tabs. Once broken they just do not go back on snug.

Valid concern. One sun visor clip crumbled. But new ones are on the way.

If nervous, you can disassemble most of the interior bits that have to be removed, before dropping it off at the shop.
