    Hurricane Florence

Looks like the collector cars will be safe at this point as forecast winds should be between 30-35 mph. . .man, could our generation rock or what? I had more HAIR back then.

    Re: Hurricane Florence

They were originally saying that the Chesapeake Bay and Annapolis were going to be hit by the hurricane, but it seems that it has turned a bit southward, so predictions are now only a bit of modest wind and perhaps an inch or two of rain. MD even declared a state of emergency as did NC, SC and VA ... but it looks all for naught at this point.

To those folks in NC and SC, southern Virginia and northeastern Georgia -- I hope all of you come out well from the hurricane and don't have any damage or other problems. Trae -- good luck man !! Stay dry Jono, AMG5.4 and Drew !!

    All the best!

    Cheers,
    Gerry

No rain in Charlotte as of now. Just a bit breezy. Nothing concerning yet.

Clover is pretty close to Rock Hill.
Light sprinkling in Concord near the racetrack. Wind has picked up a little. But still nothing to report. Its not likely anything significant will happen before tomorrow.

    All cars survived without damage.

Lots of water at my place, but no flooding.

    Thanks guys!

    Hi Trae,

Glad to hear everything came out all right for you. And I hope well for all the other members of the forum in North and South Carolina, and southern Virginia as well.
