    Re: Wheel/Tire Size Help

Oooo. Those are the hot ticket for an E500. No spacers required.

You can either use 245/40 front with 275/35 rear, or if you want wider, 255/40 front with 285/35 rear. The 245/275 combo is a bit closer to stock diameter.

Final selection may depend on your preferred tire brand/model, sometimes not all sizes are available for your favorite rubber.

    Re: Wheel/Tire Size Help

FYI, I run 12 or 15mm spacers up front with these wheels. The rears have a very aggressive offset and the spacers up front will help balance the look.

Very nice wheels that don't appear often for sale. As was said, perfect fitment. Nice. Put them on and post some pictures of the mystery car.

    Re: Wheel/Tire Size Help

If you do use (hubcentric only!) spacers up front, I would avoid the 255/285 tire sizes... this is really pushing the limits of what will clear, when at full steering lock, especially in motion, more especially at speed over bumps while turning. I'd try them without spacers first and see if you want to push the fronts out further or not. Proper hubcentric spacers are $$$.
