Anyone have the diagrams and part numbers for Orthopedics in a W124?

    All,
Firstly, I know that 500e's didn't come with Orthopedic seats (Also spelled Orthopaedic, for search results later). And I am not trying to add them.

However, I also own a 1995 E320 Wagon (Gerry and Maui's old white wagon) with factory installed Orthopedics in the front seats. I know that the system is generally 4 bladders in the back of each seat, and a switch that essentially sends air to one of the 4. And my bladders aren't leaking (I took the car in to an upholstery shop to have the front seat base rebuilt, and I had them look at the internals), but there's got to be a leak somewhere in the lines running to the special pump port in the lock unit pump (that is a different unit).

Anyone have any diagrams, part numbers, anything?

I am trying to get mine to actually work.

    Thanks in advance!

    -Dan

In order to make this thread valuable, I'll link a bunch of things I have found on the internet.

This is a picture of the switches on the seat type I have (not my picture):

The ortho seats did work at one time. Trust me, I paid something like around $350 (and that was discounted!) to replace the vacuum pump that is specifically for models with ortho seats. About double the price of a "normal" vacuum pump at the time. I bet that pump price has gone way up since I bought it, too !!

Oh I am quite sure they did. I think there is a crack in the feeder line to the seat switch. Any idea of the routing from the pump?
