    Rod strength

    How much torque can the rods in a m119.970 handle? Also where can i get forged 9:1 cr pistons from?

    Quite a bit. They are forged from the factory. I would think that 1000lbft is doable pretty reliably. Pistons you are going to have to send in to company and have them made. It takes a little while but it is not really any more expensive than buying them from someone else who already did the same thing. You just need to know the profile for the compression you want.
