    Progress on my 92 500e

Many of you may consider this a sin, but I color matched my lowers on my 92 500e to go along with the 94 conversion. My monoblocks I purchased from Ernesto go on next week as well, along with my euro side markers. Stay tuned!

Re: Progress on my 92 500e

Hey, your car, your money your likes. My 94 is completely customized in and out. I don't mind it, but my lowers were painted 040 by the PO, along with the roof. It wasn't clear coated either so it is matte, and it looks fine. When I get the E500E bumper I am going to most likely get it painted and the rest of the car painted Spruce and be done with it, but you never know. My C126 is in the process of going single color, my bumpers are done but not the cladding yet.

Did you buy the custom spruce 94 from Michael Roa that was in Houston?

I am probably the most conservative guy that hangs out around these parts, and I am fine with what you did there. I especially like some of the darker colors with a unicolor bottom. It is going to look fantastic with the Monos.

I liked the pictures of the car that Louis bought as well, interior and exterior, and most people would not expect of me, so there!

Well yes, he was the broker for the fleet of cars from PO.

Really pleased with how it came out. Managed to get the color to match exactly without any blending into the doors. Monoblocks go on tomorrow.

Thanks! My guy primarily paints old Mercs so he's the best at working around all of the trim and plastics on them, as he knows replacing some of the pieces can be difficult/expensive

The previous owner had a professional paint correction performed along with a protective sealant placed over the paint. Tomorrow I am having full nose and mirrors clear bra placed over the front end of the car to protect from any highway damage.
